皇宋咸平六年癸卯歲，日本國僧（寂照）等，齎到彼國天台山源信禪師於天台教門致相違問目二十七條，四明傳教沙門（知禮）憑教略答，隨問書之。

In the guimao year, the sixth year of the Xianping reign era of the August Song, the Japanese monk Jashō and others brought twenty-seven points of contradictory questions regarding the Tiantai teachings raised by Chan Master Genshin of Mount Tiantai in that country. Zhili, the śramaṇa of Siming who transmits the teachings, relying on the doctrinal teachings, briefly responded, setting down [his replies] following each question.
