二問：〈譬喻品〉記云：身子於十住中第六心退，恐是爾前見思俱斷，至六心時見猶未盡，六心尚退。近代疑者云：別教初住，界內見惑皆已斷盡，豈第六住見猶未盡，退作凡夫逆罪人耶？

Question 2: The subcommentary on the chapter 'A Parable' says: When Śāriputra retrogressed at the sixth mind among the ten abodes, it was perhaps that prior to that both view and thought [defilements] had been severed, and by the time of the sixth mind, views were not yet exhausted, so that at the sixth mind he still retrogressed. Recent doubters say: At the first abode of the separate teaching, all view afflictions within the three realms have already been completely severed; how could views not yet be exhausted at the sixth abode, such that he retrogressed to become an ordinary person guilty of heinous offenses?
