答：據其二觀功成、二諦惑盡，仍修中觀深伏無明，必合經生歷於多劫，未知何處定云即身？應現聞中之言可云即世，修觀之語不必一生。況聞中之後不局今證，須歸後教也。

Answer: Based on his completion of the merit of the two contemplations and the exhaustion of the delusions of the two truths, he still cultivates the middle contemplation to deeply subdue ignorance; this must surely traverse lives and pass through many kalpas. We do not know where it is definitively said to be in the very body! The statement that one should presently hear the middle [way] can be said to occur in this very world, but the statement about cultivating contemplation does not have to be within a single life. Furthermore, after hearing the middle [way], one is not confined to present realization, but must return to the subsequent teaching.
