委曲遺願彬闍梨。吾夙以緣法，獲嗣流通，踰四十年。道德無聞，深自為愧。汝亦早以弘教為志，久處座下；及傳唱利人，頗有道譽。我今老病日篤，必不能再與汝等談道，宜以像末隆法為勤，無以名利居懷。自念垂終之次，不能悉書，聊遣此好自珍育。不具。延慶座主（押）付願彬闍梨領。

Detailed testamentary will to Ācārya Yuanbin: From long ago, due to the conditions of the Dharma, I was able to inherit and disseminate it for over forty years. Having no reputation for virtue and the Way, I am deeply ashamed within myself. You also took the propagation of the teaching as your aspiration early on, remaining long under my seat; and when you transmitted and taught to benefit people, you had quite a reputation in the Way. Now my old age and illness grow worse by the day, and I will certainly not be able to talk about the Way with you again; you should be diligent in promoting the Dharma in the Semblance and Final ages, and not harbor fame and gain in your heart. Thinking that I am approaching my end, I cannot write fully; I merely send this, wishing you to take good care of yourself. Incomplete.
