（遵式）和南四明宗主。吾兄凝寒，道體必康，仍知修懺開講，說行二門、己他二利，一日並運，未之有也。所蒙教乘，一時給借，深感我交之不棄也。亦言外弘量之成我也。涅槃玄義。既許換後一片，今更募僧添滿，二十七貫四百見附去，二貫四百足作來人名，不可移易，望依今附到者書之。又見兄說除二子句當名，移岳公為本院僧甚好。但岳公於此玄義板，只消著句當雕造，不須云募緣。不同彼疏板，須安募緣，便副得吾兄云：二處講院同弘斯典，進發後人之謂也。所定文字，更計所裁必無確定，從長為當耳。倫公恐十九發去也，唯一本出義才之議，亦計伊之情，今特令梵住取。若思望勸，勵伊歸山。不宣。（遵式）和南。

Zunshi bows in reverence to the Lineage Master of Siming. In this severe cold, my elder brother's health in the Way must be robust. I also learn that you cultivate repentance and open lectures, both the two gates of preaching and practice, and the two benefits of self and other—operating both at once within a single day—which is unprecedented. For the vehicles of teachings you kindly lent me all at once, I am deeply grateful that our friendship has not abandoned me; it also speaks to your broad capacity to fulfill me beyond words. Regarding the *Profound Meaning of the Nirvāṇa Sūtra*, since you have agreed to replace the latter woodblock, I have now further recruited monks to fill the remaining amount, and twenty-seven strings and four hundred [coins] are being sent herewith. Two strings and four hundred are sufficient to enter under the name of the deliverer, which must not be changed; I hope you will write it according to what is sent now. I also see that you spoke of removing the names of the two boys from the management, and moving Master Yue to be a monk of your own cloister, which is very good. However, on these printing blocks for the *Profound Meaning*, it is sufficient for Master Yue to be noted as managing the engraving; there is no need to say 'raising funds.' Unlike the blocks for that commentary where 'raising funds' had to be placed, this will then match what my elder brother said: 'The two lecture cloisters jointly propagate this scripture, which is meant to encourage later people.' As for the settled text, considering your judgment, there will certainly be nothing unestablished; following the better option is fitting. Master Lun may depart on the nineteenth; only one copy was based on the deliberation of Yicai, and considering his feelings, I now specially send Fanzhu to fetch it. If you think of him, I hope you will encourage and urge him to return to the mountain. No more to state. Zunshi bows in reverence.
