（億）啟：近於公郵，獲披芳翰。承法裕以增勝，享淨樂以無涯。景仰尤深，感敘奚罄。屬拘公局，敻阻句筵，馳系于茲，敷宣寧既。謹修狀謝。

[Yang] Yi states: Recently, via the public courier, I was privileged to open your fragrant letter. Receiving the abundance of the Dharma, my advantage was enhanced; partaking of pure joy, it was boundless. My admiration is especially deep, and how could my expression of gratitude be exhausted? Due to my confinement by official duties, I am distantly barred from the mat of your discourses; with my thoughts bound here, how could I fully express myself? I respectfully prepare this letter of thanks.
