昔年慚不識，今日羨仍頻，
造疏傳他域，談空聚遠人。
龕燈孤敵暗，庭柏瘦無春，
漸老思山甚，相逢會有因。

In former years, ashamed that I knew you not, / today I repeatedly envy you: / you write commentaries that transmit to other lands, / you discuss emptiness, drawing men from afar. / The niche's lamp stands alone against the dark; / the courtyard cypress, lean, knows no spring. / As I grow old, I yearn deeply for the mountains; / our meeting shall surely have its cause.
