彌天才筆洞懸河，獨步當年解義科，
國士聽經春夢少，江僧從化晝禪多。
半千衲子傳新鈔，積代宗師解舊訛，
只恐吳皇命同輦，妓人無處獻笙歌。

With talent flooding the heavens, your brush empties a suspended torrent; / standing peerless in those years in the examination of doctrinal meaning. / As national scholars listen to the sūtras, their spring dreams are few; / as river monks follow your conversion, their daytime meditation is much. / Five hundred patched-robed monks transmit your new subcommentaries; / ancestral masters of successive generations resolve former errors. / We only fear that the Emperor of Wu will summon you to share his carriage, / leaving the singing girls no place to offer their pipes and songs.
