眾緣留住世，喜見幾生身，
猊座揚金石，宵庭立鬼神。
齋窓時過鹿，禪徑不知春，
江上傳燈者，誰將繼後塵。（詔下注御集之歲中秋二十有八日書）

Various conditions urge you to remain in the world; joyfully we behold the body of several lifetimes.
Upon the lion throne, your voice resounds like metal and stone; in the night courtyard, spirits and ghosts stand attendance.
At the fasting window, deer pass by at times; on the dhyāna path, one knows not spring.
Among those who transmit the lamp along the river, who will follow in your footsteps?
