6.85

四明遙在目，霽色露層崖，
龍作人聽講，神為客施齋。
松風鳴鐵錫，石靄濕椶鞋，
老病空相憶，多慚請益乖。（詔下箋注御集之年季秋月自書）

Siming is distant before my eyes; the cleared sky reveals its tiered cliffs.
A dragon acts as a human to listen to your lecture; a spirit serves as a guest to provide the feast.
Pine winds rustle your iron monk's staff; rock mists dampen your palm-bark sandals.
Old and ailing, I vainly remember you from afar; deeply ashamed that my seeking of instruction has gone astray.
