Xu Ling took Master Yi as teacher, using the Way to honor the worthy. Liang Su took Master Ran as teacher, diligent in attending upon him. These two gentlemen were fortunate to hear the words proclaimed by the two masters, moistening them with the dew of wisdom, purifying their heart-lotuses. Our master Jingguang has his fragrant reputation resting here; without speech and without manifestation, what he attained was yet more profound. His form stands solemn in the abbot's room, his conversion flowing to later generations; the cliffs of Tiantai do not move, his pure breeze enduring continuously.
