寶雲法師迺四明、天竺所稟，則中興教觀之鼻祖也。而古無塑像，不亦殆於忘本乎。智謙既立坐像，復圖是本，併錢王贊摹刻諸石，俾瞻拜者可以想見當時之形容云。紹興庚辰孟冬，第六代住持法孫圓澄大師智謙謹題。

Dharma Master Baoyun was the master from whom Siming and Tianzhu received the teaching; he was thus the founding ancestor who revived the doctrinal teaching and contemplation. Yet in the past there was no sculpted image of him; would that not verge on forgetting the root? After Zhizian had erected a seated image, he further drew this portrait and carved King Qian's eulogy along with it on stone, so that those who gaze up in reverence can envision his appearance of that time. In the first month of winter in the gengchen year of the Shaoxing era, Dharma-grandson Master Yuancheng, Zhizian, sixth-generation abbot, respectfully inscribed this.
