海角復天涯，形分道不賖，燈青讀圜覺，香煖頂袈裟。
戒比珠無類，心猶鏡斷瑕，平生賴慈眼，
南望一咨嗟。

A corner of the sea and the edge of heaven: / though our bodies are parted, the Way is not distant. / By the green lamp you read the Perfect Enlightenment, / with warm incense upon your kaṣāya. / Your precepts, like jewels, have no peer; / your mind, like a mirror, is free of flaw. / All my life I have relied on your compassionate gaze; / looking southward, I heave a deep sigh.
