I respectfully submit: Formerly, Baoyun possessed great disciples, like a pair of young colts emerging from the Wowa River; perfuming correct views and understanding from Tiantai, like fragrant orchids emerging above the weeds. In this desolate era of later generations, knowing how difficult it is for a master to transmit the teachings, we reflect on Lecturer Venerable Ying, the newly appointed abbot of Baoyun. Having received the mind-transmission, he remains unburdened by worldly dust. He has visited shops showering flowers everywhere and personally emerged from the furnace that smelts gold. With white hair and frost-covered eyebrows, he accepts the entrustment of Daoist seekers to complete their years; with morning incense and evening lamps, he elicits the laymen's sincere blessings of longevity. As the refuge of the assembly, may you not turn back! Respectfully submitted.
