淳化初，郡之乾符寺請開講席，諸子悅隨，若眾流會海。繇是堂舍側陋，門徒漸繁，未幾遂遷于保恩院焉。《法華》、《止觀》、《金光明》諸部，連環講貫，歲無虛日。

At the beginning of Chunhua, Qianfu Monastery in the commandery invited him to inaugurate a lecture seat. The disciples followed him with joy, like numerous streams gathering into the ocean. Because of this, the halls and lodgings were cramped and mean, and his followers gradually multiplied, so before long he moved to Bao'en Cloister. The various scriptures such as the Lotus Sūtra, Great Calming and Contemplation, and Golden Light Sūtra were lectured upon in continuous succession, without a day left idle throughout the year.
