Answer: It is because manuscripts often have scribal errors, and presence or omission is difficult to discern. The edition examined by the author of the Subcommentary at that time must have had the names of three bodhisattvas, and it was by no means an unfounded criticism. Although other sūtras have the titles of these three holy ones, since there is no re-translated text, they do not serve as an objection under this precedent.
