名字即者，解義也。仰信真如法性，凡不能減，聖不能增，但由客塵覆蔽，而不證得，須先藉緣修助發真修，方可剋證。

Identity in name is understanding the meaning. One reverently believes that true suchness and the dharma-nature cannot be diminished by worldlings nor increased by sages; it is only because of being veiled by adventitious defilements that it is not realized. One must first rely on conditional cultivation to assist in giving rise to true cultivation before it can be conclusively realized.
