"Namo Śākyamuni Buddha. Namo Prabhūtaratna Buddha. Namo the emanation Buddhas of Śākyamuni. Namo the Scripture of the Lotus Flower of the Fine Dharma. Namo Mañjuśrī Bodhisattva. Namo Samantabhadra Bodhisattva." (After invoking the names of the Buddhas and bodhisattva-mahāsattvas in this way, one should then recite the sūtra. The method of reciting the sūtra is broadly clarified below. The practitioner should not only realize that the nature of the sound of reciting the sūtra is empty, but should also know that body and mind are like clouds and shadows, having nothing to be attained as feet are raised and lowered, not abiding in the marks of walking; and also know that this body reflects in the ten directions, filling the dharmadhātu, universally manifesting everywhere, encircling the Buddhas. In this way circumambulating for three rounds, or up to seven rounds, three periods of seven rounds, seven periods of seven rounds, or a hundred rounds, without a fixed number—one should deliberate for oneself. When the circumambulation is about to finish, one should return to invoking the names of the Three Jewels as before, burning incense, maintaining correct mindfulness, and performing the chant of agreement. When the chant is finished, proceed to the original place of bowing to the Buddha, take refuge in the Three Jewels with single-minded correct mindfulness, and speak aloud with one's own mouth:)
