「一心敬禮普賢菩薩摩訶薩。」（三唱此菩薩，是法華懺悔主。行者當自作心，的對此菩薩胡跪說罪懺悔，并發願等，其餘諸佛菩薩悉作證明。三七日中皆悉如是。）

"With wholehearted devotion I pay homage to Samantabhadra Bodhisattva Mahāsattva." (Chant this bodhisattva's name three times; he is the lord of the Lotus repentance. The practitioner should direct their mind toward this bodhisattva, kneel upright before him, confess their sins and repent, make vows, and so on; all the other Buddhas and bodhisattvas will serve as witnesses. It should be performed thus throughout the three periods of seven days.)
