最初懺悔眼根法（行者一心胡跪正身威儀，燒香散華，心念改悔，我與眾生，眼根從昔已來，性常空寂，顛倒因緣起諸重罪，流淚悲泣，口宣懺悔。下五根懺悔威儀方法，例如今說。口即自言：）

First: The Method for Repenting for the Eye Faculty (The practitioner kneels upright with single-minded devotion, maintaining proper deportment, burns incense, scatters flowers, and reflects on reforming and repenting: 'Together with all sentient beings, the nature of my eye faculty has from the past always been empty and quiescent; yet through inverted causes and conditions I have generated heavy transgressions.' Weeping with sorrow and tears, they orally recite the repentance. The deportment and methods for repenting for the following five faculties follow the present explanation. They then state aloud:)
