1.34

"Namo past Saddharmavidyā Tathāgata, presently Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva, who has accomplished wondrous merits and possesses great compassion. In a single body and mind manifesting a thousand hands and eyes, you illuminate and perceive the dharmadhātu, protecting and maintaining sentient beings, causing them to arouse the vast and great mind of the Way, teaching them to uphold the perfect divine mantra, to be forever separated from the evil destinies and to attain birth before the buddhas. Heavy offenses of the uninterrupted [hell] and malignant diseases entangling the body, which none could rescue, you cause all to be eliminated. Samādhis, eloquence, and wishes sought in the present life are all brought to fruition without any doubt. You enable [beings] swiftly to obtain the three vehicles and early ascend the buddha-stage. Your majestic and divine power cannot be exhausted by praise; therefore, with whole mind I take refuge and pay prostrations."
