一切恭敬，信禮常住三寶。（一禮，各想三寶性海，無能、無所，畢竟平等，一切眾生同入此三寶海中。起已，各胡跪，手執香爐，端身正意，口自唱言：）

Universal reverence: in faith bow to the ever-abiding Three Jewels. (One prostration; each contemplates the nature-ocean of the Three Jewels as free from subject and object, ultimately equal, and all sentient beings entering together into this ocean of the Three Jewels. Having risen, each kneels, holds an incense burner in hand, with upright body and correct intention, and recites aloud with their mouth:)
