夫法儀施設，在乎必當為主，若言理有歸，何須諍論？除傳者不肖，醍醐殺人。《熾盛光大威德真言》者，大聖垂愍，別示神方，雖言小異持，蓋功深難測，專心暫誦，立見有功，豈在載言！

Now, the establishment of ritual methods lies in taking what is truly appropriate as paramount. If the principles spoken have their proper basis, why need there be disputation? Unless the transmitter is unprincipled, even ghee can kill a person. As for the Tejaprabhā Mahātejas Mantra, the Great Sage, condescending with compassion, separately revealed this divine prescription; though words differ slightly in recitation, its merit is truly deep and hard to fathom. Chanting it with single-minded devotion for even a short while, one immediately sees its efficacy—how could it depend on extensive words!
