2.22

夫祈道者，若非上供三寶、下拯四生，福慧無由增長。今於密藏之內，錄出要妙之門，冀諸四眾依而行之。若欲供養佛法僧三寶者，應先於三寶像前，五體投地普禮遍法界無盡佛法僧三寶，口誦普禮真言七遍，真言曰：

Now, for those who seek the Way, if they do not make offerings above to the Three Jewels and rescue the four modes of birth below, there is no way for their merit and wisdom to increase. Now, from within the esoteric treasury, I record the essential and wondrous gates, hoping that the four assemblies will rely on and practice them. If one wishes to make offerings to the Buddha, Dharma, and Saṅgha—the Three Jewels—one should first, before the images of the Three Jewels, throw one's five limbs to the ground and universally pay homage to the inexhaustible Buddha, Dharma, and Saṅgha throughout the dharmadhātu, chanting the Universal Homage Mantra seven times with one's mouth.
