2.39

若欲利益一切有情者，每至天降雨時，起大悲心仰面向空，誦聖觀自在菩薩甘露真言二十一遍，其雨滴所霑一切有情，盡滅一切惡業重罪皆獲利樂。又若誦此陀羅尼者，所有過現作四重五逆、謗方等經一闡提罪，悉皆消滅無有遺餘，身心輕利智慧明達，若身若語悉能利樂一切眾生。若有眾生廣造一切無間等罪，若得遇此持明人影暫映其身，忽得共語或聞語聲，彼人罪障悉得消滅。真言曰：

If one wishes to benefit all sentient beings, whenever it rains from the sky, one should give rise to great compassion, look up toward the sky, and chant the Amṛta Mantra of Holy Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva twenty-one times; all sentient beings touched by those raindrops will have all evil karma and grave sins completely eliminated, and will all attain benefit and joy. Furthermore, if one chants this dhāraṇī, all offences of having committed the four grave offences, the five heinous sins, slandering the Vaipulya sūtras, or being an icchantika in the past or present will all be eliminated without remainder; one's body and mind will become light and agile, one's wisdom luminous and penetrating, and both one's body and speech will be able to benefit and gladden all sentient beings. If there are sentient beings who have extensively committed all sins of the Avīci hell and the like, if they happen to encounter the shadow of this vidyādhara briefly falling upon their body, or suddenly get to converse with him, or hear the sound of his voice, that person's sinful obstacles will all be eliminated.
