瑜伽蓮華部念誦法云：「若觸穢處，當觀頂上有法界生字放赤色光，所謂㘕字，於所食物皆加持此字，即不成穢觸；於一切供養香華等皆加此字放白色光，即無穢觸，所供養物皆遍法界。」

The Yoga Lotus Family Recitation Method states: 'If one touches an impure place, one should visualize on one's crown the syllable born of the dharmadhātu emitting red light, namely the syllable Raṃ. If this syllable is used to empower all food, it will not become impure touch; if this syllable is applied to all offerings such as incense and flowers, emitting white light, there will be no impure touch, and the offerings will pervade the dharmadhātu.'
