《拔濟苦難陀羅尼經》云：「若有善男子善女人，至誠禮敬不動如來、應、正等覺，受持此呪，先所造作五無間業、四重十惡，毀諸賢聖、謗正法罪，皆悉除滅。臨命終時，彼不動佛與諸菩薩來現其前，讚歎慰喻令其歡喜，復告之言：『今來迎汝，應隨我往所從佛國。』彼命終已，決定往生不動如來清淨佛土。」

The Sūtra of the Dhāraṇī for Delivering from Suffering and Calamity says: "If there are good men or good women who with utmost sincerity pay homage to Akṣobhya Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, and accept and uphold this mantra, the karma of the five uninterrupted crimes, the four parajikas, and the ten non-virtuous actions previously committed, as well as the sins of slandering the worthy and noble ones and slandering the True Dharma, will all be eradicated. At the time of death, that Akṣobhya Buddha together with all bodhisattvas will appear before them, praising and comforting them so as to cause them to rejoice, and moreover saying to them: 'We have now come to welcome you; you should follow me to the Buddha land from which I come.' After their lives end, they are certain to be reborn in Akṣobhya Tathāgata's pure Buddha land."
