1.51

《拔濟苦難陀羅尼經》云：「若有善男子善女人，至誠禮敬滅惡趣王如來，受持此呪，萬四千劫常憶宿命，所在生處得丈夫身，具足諸根深信因果，善諸伎術妙解諸論，好行惠施厭捨諸欲，不造惡業離諸危怖，具正念慧眾所愛重，常近善友恒聞正法，求菩提心曾無暫捨，以諸功德而自莊嚴，具善律儀怖諸惡業，恒無匱乏調柔樂靜，於天人中常受快樂，速證無上正等菩提，終不退於十到彼岸，願常利樂一切有情，諸所修行非事自利，在所生處常得見佛，護持正法預賢聖眾。」

The Sūtra of the Dhāraṇī for Delivering from Suffering and Calamity says: "If there are good men or good women who with utmost sincerity pay homage to the Tathāgata King of Eradicating Evil Destinies and accept and uphold this mantra, for fourteen thousand kalpas they will constantly remember their past lives, always obtain a male body wherever they are born, possess all faculties complete, deeply believe in cause and effect, be skilled in the arts and crafts, wonderfully understand the treatises, delight in practicing generosity, revile and abandon desires, create no evil karma, be free from all perils and terrors, be endowed with correct mindfulness and wisdom, be loved and respected by all, always draw close to good spiritual friends, constantly hear the True Dharma, never momentarily abandon the mind that seeks bodhi, adorn themselves with all virtues, possess good moral discipline, dread all evil karmas, constantly be free of lack, be gentle and fond of tranquility, constantly experience joy among gods and humans, quickly realize unexcelled, correct, and complete enlightenment, never regress from the ten perfections, vow always to benefit and gladden all sentient beings, engage in practices that are never for self-benefit, constantly see the Buddha wherever they are born, and protect the True Dharma, taking part among the host of worthy and noble ones."
