《佛頂放無垢光一切如來心陀羅尼經》云：「此陀羅尼是九十九百千俱胝那由他殑伽沙如來同所宣說，若有眾生得見聞隨喜者，所有三世一切罪業，當墮地獄惡趣乃至傍生，悉皆破滅。若書此呪安於塔中，如九十九百千俱胝那由他殑伽沙等如來，一一如來全身舍利置於塔中而無有異。若有此塔生恭敬者，所有過去短命之業而得消除，復增壽命、諸天護持，此人命終捨此身時，便得往生安樂世界。若誦一遍，同彼十殑伽沙等如來所，而種善根獲大福報，五無間業悉皆滅盡，乃至地獄傍生焰魔羅界，一切罪障皆得解脫，復得長壽，命盡即生安樂世界，乃至若有專注念誦，久患瘡痍便得痊差，意所求事皆悉獲得。若復有人聞念誦聲，所有罪障悉得解脫，其念誦聲觸於傍生及諸蟲蟻，一切業道悉得解脫。若於塚間掘取骸骨，呪其沙土二十一遍散於骨上，彼之神識隨其方處，所墮地獄悉皆解脫，生善逝天。若誦百千遍，命終之時，被焰魔王使以索繫頸牽入焰魔羅界，彼界之內一切地獄，悉皆破壞返生怖畏，尋令迴還而得解脫，謂彼行人法王之使，住靜慮道無有疑惑，欲生安樂世界隨願往生也。」

The Sūtra of the Heart Dhāraṇī of All Tathāgatas Emitted as Stainless Light from the Uṣṇīṣa says: "This dhāraṇī was proclaimed together by ninety-nine hundred thousand koṭis of nayutas of Tathāgatas, [as numerous as] the sands of the Ganges. If sentient beings see it, hear it, or rejoice in accord with it, all their sinful karmas of the three times that would cause them to fall into the hells, the evil destinies, and even among animals, will all be shattered and eliminated. If one writes this mantra and places it inside a stūpa, it is no different from placing the complete body śarīras of each and every one of ninety-nine hundred thousand koṭis of nayutas of Tathāgatas, [as numerous as] the sands of the Ganges, inside the stūpa. If anyone gives rise to reverence toward this stūpa, all their past karmas of short life will be eradicated, their lifespan will be further prolonged, and the devas will protect and uphold them; when this person dies and sheds this body, they will immediately attain rebirth in the World of Peace and Bliss. If one recites it once, it is equivalent to planting good roots and obtaining great blessings before those Tathāgatas [as numerous as] the sands of ten Ganges rivers; the karmas of the five uninterrupted hells will all be completely extinguished, and down to the hells, animal realms, and Yamarāja's realm, all karmic obstructions will be liberated; moreover, one will obtain long life, and when one's life ends, one will immediately be born in the World of Peace and Bliss. Furthermore, if anyone recites it with single-minded focus, long-standing sores and ulcers will immediately be healed, and whatever the mind seeks will all be obtained. If another person hears the sound of its recitation, all their karmic obstructions will be liberated; if that sound of recitation touches animals, insects, or ants, they will all be liberated from all karmic courses. If one digs up bones in a cemetery, consecrates sand and soil twenty-one times with this mantra, and scatters it over the bones, that person's consciousness, whatever direction or place or hell it has fallen into, will all be liberated and born in the heaven of the Sugatas. If one recites it a hundred thousand times, at the time of death, when King Yama's emissaries tie a cord around one's neck to drag one into Yamarāja's realm, all the hells within that realm will be completely destroyed, [the emissaries] will instead give rise to terror, and will immediately send one back so that one attains liberation, saying that this practitioner is an envoy of the Dharma King, abiding in the path of dhyāna without doubt; if they desire to be born in the World of Peace and Bliss, they will be reborn according to their vow."
