He answers: "It is because they do not cultivate in accordance with reality and do not correspond with the name and its meaning. Why is this? Because they do not know that the Tathāgata is the dharmakāya of true reality and is the body for the sake of beings. Furthermore, there are three kinds of non-correspondence: first, faith is not genuine, existing at times and vanishing at others; second, faith is not unified, meaning it lacks resolve; third, faith is not continuous, meaning other thoughts intervene. These mutually subsume one another: if one can be continuous, that is one mind; if one can simply be of one mind, that is a genuine mind. Endowed with these three minds, if one should fail to be reborn, there is no such possibility."
