問曰：「計一切眾生念佛之功，亦應一切可知。何因一念之力，能斷一切諸障，如一香樹，改四十由旬伊蘭林，悉使香美也？」

Question: "Calculating the efficacy of buddhānusmṛti in all sentient beings, everything should also be knowable. For what reason can the power of a single thought cut off all obstacles, just as a single fragrant tree transforms an eraṇḍa forest of forty yojanas, making it all fragrant and sweet?"
