問曰：「向言無生之生唯上士能入，中下不堪者，為當直將人約法作如此判？為當亦有聖教來證？」

Question: It was said earlier that only superior persons can enter the birth of non-birth, while those of middling and lower capacities are incapable. Was this distinction made simply by applying persons to the Dharma, or is there also holy scripture to verify it?
