1.89

又問曰：「諸大乘經、論皆言：『一切眾生畢竟無生，猶若虛空。』云何天親、龍樹菩薩皆願往生也？」

He asks again: "The various Mahāyāna sūtras and treatises all say: 'All sentient beings are ultimately unarisen, just like empty space.' Why then did the Bodhisattvas Vasubandhu and Nāgārjuna both vow to attain rebirth?"
