第一、略舉諸大乘經，來證皆勸捨此、悕彼者。一、謂耆闍崛山說《大經》二卷；二、《觀經》一部，王宮、耆闍兩會正說；三、《小卷無量壽經》，舍衛一說；四、復有《十方隨願往生經》明證；五、復有《無量清淨覺經》二卷，一會正說；六、更有《十往生經》一卷。諸餘大乘經論，指讚處多，如《請觀音》、《大品經》等。又如龍樹、天親等論，歎勸非一，餘方淨土，皆不如此丁寧。

"First, briefly citing various Mahāyāna sūtras as evidence that all encourage renouncing this and desiring that: First, the two-fascicle *Larger Sūtra* spoken on Mount Gṛdhrakūṭa; second, the single work of the *Guan jing*, spoken primarily in the two assemblies of the royal palace and Gṛdhrakūṭa; third, the *Shorter Sukhāvatīvyūha-sūtra*, spoken once in Śrāvastī; fourth, the clear evidence of the *Shifang suiyuan wangsheng jing*; fifth, the two-fascicle *Wuliang qingjing jue jing*, spoken primarily in one assembly; sixth, the one-fascicle *Shi wangsheng jing*. In various other Mahāyāna sūtras and treatises, the places pointing toward and praising it are many, such as the *Qing guanyin jing* and the *Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra*. Furthermore, in treatises by Nāgārjuna, Vasubandhu, and others, praises and encouragements are more than one; regarding Pure Lands in other directions, none are given such detailed attention as this."
