2.64

第一、依《大經》引類證誠者。十方諸佛，無不勸歸西方，十方菩薩無不同生，十方人、天有意齊歸，故知不可思議事也。是故《大經讚》云：「神力無極阿彌陀，十方無量佛所讚，東方恒沙諸佛國，菩薩無數悉往覲。亦復供養安樂國，菩薩聲聞諸大眾，聽受經法宣道化，自餘九方亦如是。」

First, as for citing similar examples based on the Larger Sūtra as verification: among the buddhas of the ten directions, there are none who do not encourage taking refuge in the West; among the bodhisattvas of the ten directions, there are none who do not equally seek rebirth; humans and gods of the ten directions with intention all turn to it alike. Thus, we know this is an inconceivable matter. Therefore, the Hymn on the Larger Sūtra states:
'Amitābha of limitless spiritual power
Is praised by the immeasurable buddhas of the ten directions.
From the lands of buddhas like Ganges sands in the eastern direction,
Countless bodhisattvas all go to pay homage.
They also make offerings in the land of Peace and Bliss
To the great assemblies of bodhisattvas and śrāvakas,
Listen to and receive the scriptures and Dharma, and proclaim the teachings of the path;
The remaining nine directions are also like this.'
