《安樂集》二卷，寬元以降繡梓而行世者，文字間有差誤。今會聚橫川觀中、三井尊弘、梅尾明慧、根來深淵、黑谷慧鎮等若干本，而偶以校焉，其當不之辨而判然趨捨之，彼此之間以為一本，至于其猶預而未可決，則闕而一任於後學也。且句逗四聲副之字傍，以使讀者易掛于牙齒耳。

As for the Collection on the Land of Peace and Bliss in two fascicles, since the Kangen era it has been engraved on blocks and circulated in the world, with errors in the text here and there. Now, gathering several editions—such as Yokawa Kanchū, Miidera Sonkō, Togano'o Myōe, Negoro Shinen, Kurodani Echin, and others—I have collated them in spare moments. Distinguishing between what is appropriate and what is not, and clearly choosing or rejecting them, I have made a single edition out of them. As for what remains hesitant and undecidable, it is left vacant and entrusted entirely to later scholars. Furthermore, punctuation marks and the four tones have been added to the sides of the characters, merely to make it easy for readers to roll over their teeth.
