又白行者：欲生淨土，唯須持戒、念佛、誦彌陀經，日別十五遍，二年得一萬。日別三十遍，一年一萬。日別念一萬遍佛，亦須依時禮讚淨土莊嚴事，大須精進。或得三萬、六萬、十萬者，皆是上品上生人。自餘功德盡迴往生。應知。已前明觀佛三昧法。

Furthermore, I inform practitioners: if you wish to be born in the Pure Land, you must only uphold the precepts, recite the Buddha's name, and chant the Amitābha Sūtra—fifteen times a day, reaching ten thousand times in two years; or thirty times a day, reaching ten thousand times in one year. Daily recite the Buddha's name ten thousand times, and also at the proper times bow to and praise the adornments of the Pure Land; you must make great energetic efforts. Those who manage thirty thousand, sixty thousand, or one hundred thousand are all persons destined for the highest tier of the highest grade of rebirth. All other merits should likewise be dedicated toward rebirth. You should know this. The method of the buddhadarśana-samādhi has been clarified above.
