1.58

又如四紙《彌陀經》中說，佛言：「若有男子女人，或一日七日，一心專念彌陀佛名。其人命欲終時，阿彌陀佛與諸聖眾自來迎接，即得往生西方極樂世界。」釋迦佛言：「我見是利，故說此言。」即為證也。此亦是攝生增上緣。

Furthermore, as spoken in the four-sheet Amitābha Sūtra, the Buddha said: "If there is a man or woman who, for one day or seven days, single-mindedly and exclusively contemplates the name of Amitābha Buddha, when that person's life is on the verge of ending, Amitābha Buddha together with all the noble assembly will personally come to welcome them, and they will immediately attain rebirth in the western Sukhāvatī world." Śākyamuni Buddha said: "Seeing this benefit, I speak these words." This serves as proof. This is also the adhipati-pratyaya of embracing sentient beings.
