1.64

又下經云，佛告韋提：「汝及眾生專心計念一處，想於西方地下金幢、地上眾寶莊嚴。」下至十三觀已來，總答上韋提二請，以為明證。欲使善惡凡夫迴心起行盡得往生，此亦是證生增上緣。

Furthermore, the sūtra below says that the Buddha addressed Vaidehī: "You and sentient beings should single-mindedly fix your thoughts upon one place, visualizing the golden banner beneath the ground in the west and the adornments of all jewels above the ground." Down to the thirteenth contemplation, all are general answers to Vaidehī's two requests above, serving as clear proof. Intending to cause good and evil pṛthagjanas to turn their minds, give rise to practice, and all attain rebirth, this too is the adhipati-pratyaya of certifying rebirth.
