問曰：若凡夫所變淨土是有漏，非三界所感之，生彼者不同餘人天造惡受苦果，說非人天。如《勝鬘經》說「變易生死非三界攝，非彼生死實報，是化生，非人天趣」者，未知淨土化生凡夫非三界。《瓔珞經》說三界之外有眾生者，是洴沙王國安多偈師義，非佛說。故是三界身，實非三界身耶？依此後解，復為斯問。

Question: If the Pure Land transformed by pṛthagjanas is contaminated and not karmically generated by the three realms, and those born there differ from other humans and devas who create evil and undergo suffering results, they are said not to be humans and devas. Just as the *Śrīmālā Sūtra* says: "Inconceivable transformation death (pariṇāmikīcyuti) is not subsumed under the three realms; it is not the real retribution of saṃsāra, but apparitional birth, not the human and deva destinies"—we do not yet know whether the apparitionally born pṛthagjanas of the Pure Land are not of the three realms. The *Yingluo jing* says that the claim that there are sentient beings outside the three realms is the doctrine of Master Anduo of the kingdom of Bimbisāra, not taught by the Buddha. Therefore, are they bodies of the three realms, or truly not bodies of the three realms? Based on this latter interpretation, this question is asked again.
