問曰：於此三界穢土受生，但有色形皆受中陰，死此生彼，往來傳識具有四有，所謂中有、生有、本有、死有。未知從此生於淨土，亦有中有不？

Question: Taking birth in this defiled land of the three realms, wherever there is form and physical shape, all undergo the intermediate state (antarābhava); dying here and being born there, coming and going while consciousness is transmitted, one possesses all four states of existence, namely intermediate existence, birth existence, fundamental existence, and death existence. It is not known whether, when taking birth from here into the pure land, there is also an intermediate existence or not.
