問曰：《金剛般若經》云：若以色見我、以音聲求我，是人行邪道，不能見如來。又云：離一切諸相，即名諸佛。如何今日作有相觀佛行於邪道，而願求生？此實難矣。

Question: The Diamond Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra says: 'If one sees me by form, or seeks me by sound, this person walks a deviant path and cannot see the Tathāgata.' It also says: 'To be free from all marks is called the Buddhas.' Why today do you practice visualization of the Buddha with forms, walking a deviant path, and aspire to seek rebirth? This is truly difficult [to accept].
