3.18

問曰：《十輪經》說「造十惡輪罪，一切諸佛之所不救。」既言不救，如何念佛亦令罪滅得生西方。若得生者，此是救。何名一切諸佛不救也？

Question: The *Daśacakra Sūtra* says: 'Those who commit the offenses of the ten evil wheels cannot be saved by any of the Buddhas.' Since it says they cannot be saved, how can practicing buddhānusmṛti also cause their offenses to be extinguished and allow them to attain rebirth in the West? If they can attain rebirth, this is salvation. Why does it say they cannot be saved by any of the Buddhas?
