5.10

問曰：此娑婆世界有十種勝事，諸餘淨土之所無有。又此方修道一日一夜，勝極樂世界一百年。准此經文，於此穢土修道勝生淨土，何為故乃勸往生西方耶？

The objection asks: This Sahā world possesses ten excellent matters that the other pure lands lack. Furthermore, cultivating the Way in this realm for one day and one night surpasses one hundred years in the Sukhāvatī world. According to these scriptural passages, cultivating the Way in this defiled land surpasses taking birth in the pure land. Why, then, is one urged to be reborn in the West?
