問曰：九品生人行有優劣，聖迎多少、花開早晚、珍臺寶華悉有差降。何因上品下生與下品下生，一種金花遂無優劣也？

Question: For people born in the nine grades, their practices are superior or inferior, the sages welcoming them are many or few, the opening of their flowers is early or late, and their precious daises and jeweled flowers all have gradations. For what reason is there just one kind of golden flower for the lower birth of the highest grade and the lower birth of the lowest grade, so that there is ultimately no superiority or inferiority?
