問曰：如上所釋，念阿彌陀佛，以種種義挍量，顯勝功德甚多，深生信敬，不敢誹謗。然此所得功德甚多，為由無所得心作無相念阿彌陀佛真實法身，功德多耶？為但以有所得心作有相念報化等身，功德亦多耶？

The question asks: As explained above, contemplating Amitābha has very great merit demonstrated by comparative appraisal through various meanings; I give rise to deep faith and reverence, and dare not slander it. However, does this very great merit obtained arise because one practices signless contemplation of Amitābha's real dharmakāya with a mind that has no attainment, and thus the merit is great? Or is it that even if one practices contemplation with signs of the saṃbhoga- and nirmāṇa-kāyas with a mind that has attainment, the merit is also great?
