Now, the books praising and supporting Amitābha's teachings and contemplations pile up like mountains. Yet Tiantai Master Zhizhe's Treatise on the Ten Doubts about the Pure Land is the foremost among them, citing the holy words and resolving the manifold perplexities. It is as when the sun arrives in a dark room of ten thousand years, instantly shedding abundant light; or on a water voyage of a thousand li, when a boat is provided without exhausting one's self-power. Were he not a later manifestation of Dharmākara, he could not have reached this.
