答曰：如《無量壽經》云「阿難白佛言：『世尊！彼土既無須彌山等，四天王、忉利天依何而住？』佛答曰：『依業力而住。』」既有人、後有四天王等，當知即有欲界也。即此經復云「告彌勒：『汝見從地已上乃至淨居天所有莊嚴事不？』答曰：『已見也。』」當知即有欲、色二界，但不論無色界也。

Answer: As the Sukhāvatīvyūha Sūtra says: 'Ānanda addressed the Buddha, saying: "World-Honoured One! Since that land has no Mount Sumeru and so forth, upon what do the Four Heavenly Kings and the Trāyastriṃśa devas reside?" The Buddha answered, saying: "They reside based on the power of karma."' Since there are humans and subsequently the Four Heavenly Kings and so forth, one should know that the desire realm exists there. Furthermore, this same sūtra says: '[The Buddha] told Maitreya: "Do you see all the adornments from the ground up to the Śuddhāvāsa heavens?" He answered, saying: "I have seen them."' One should know that the two realms of desire and form exist there, but the formless realm is not discussed.
