問曰，如上所明通別二因，難具造修，凡夫智淺力薄，恐心生絕分。今願撮其樞要，梗概而說。

Question: As for the two causes, common and specific, explained above, they are difficult to undertake and cultivate completely; ordinary beings have shallow wisdom and slight strength, and we fear their minds will feel cut off and give up. We now wish that you would extract the pivot and essentials, and speak in broad outline.
