答曰：如綽禪師撿得經文，但能念佛一心不亂，得百萬遍已去者，定得往生。又綽禪師依《小阿彌陀經》七日念佛，撿得百萬遍也。是故《大集經》、《藥師經》、《小阿彌陀經》皆勸七日念佛者，此意明矣。

Answer: As Dhyāna Master Daochuo discovered upon examining the scriptural passages, if one can simply engage in mindfulness of the Buddha single-mindedly and undisturbed, reaching one million times or more, one is definitely assured rebirth in the Pure Land. Furthermore, Dhyāna Master Daochuo, relying on the Smaller Amitābha Sūtra's [practice of] mindfulness of the Buddha for seven days, calculated [it to amount to] one million times. Therefore, that the Mahāsaṃnipāta Sūtra, Bhaiṣajyaguru Sūtra, and Smaller Amitābha Sūtra all encourage mindfulness of the Buddha for seven days makes this meaning clear.
